That’s it, were done and gone.  The boo and rope are stacked and coiled, signs are down and the snow is melting.  All in all, looking back as another great season in the mountains working with some of the best in the business.  We made the best of a mostly below average winter and enjoyed the hell out of the few big storms we got.  The last two weeks going down with 80″ and on par with any storm cycle I’ve ever worked for sheer entertainment, hard work and damn fine skiing.  I want to thank all the guys and gals on the patrol and mountain ops that make it possible for me to keep this amazing job, with you all, I would’ve failed at this years ago.  So be safe and enjoy your rivers, mountains, fires or whatever else you do to make a living away from The Canyons.  As for me, well I am packing my bags and and cleaning up the house for 8 days on the open roads..  The weather looks entertaining to say the least, so I may bail from SLC a day early and try to get to warmer climes before the snow hits, I can ride in rain, not so interested in the damn snow.  Anyway, thanks for reading, starting today this thing will shift to a summer focus and everything I hear at work sounds like it will continue to entertain this year.

I threw a quick gallery together and I’m trying out a new gallery plug-in, so here are some pics of 2010 season, and you can always check out my Winter 2010 set on Flickr

Edit – Got rid of the gallery, took too long to load, I need to shrink the images before putting them in….
